What is a silicone Spoonula and what does LFGB grade Wacker silicone mean?

A spoonula combines the best of a spatula and a spoon! LFGB grade silicone is tested annually to European LFGB food standards, a higher standard than FDA grade. Wacker is the brand of silicone we use, a German brand known for quality raw materials.
Will the XL Spoonula fit in my utensil drawer or crock?

At 13.5" long, yes our XL Utensils will fit in a standard 600mm deep utensil drawer. They will also stand up in a regulare size crock, or can be hung on hooks. Or you may prefer our regular size 11" Spoonula.
Can I use the Spoonula on cast iron, or to make caramel in a hot pan?

Yes definitely. All our silicone utensils are heat resistant to 600F and will not melt, deform or warp even if you leave them lying in a hot pan. They are safe for making caramel, scraping pots, and they will not damage your pans.
Are these Spoonulas dishwasher and microwave safe?

Yes, these utensils are safe to wash in the dishwasher top rack. They are also super easy to handwash as the silicone simply wipes clean. They are not microwave safe due to the steel core.
Do you have other Starpack utensils in the same style and color?

Yes we do! We sell a huge range of high quality single silicone utensils, in both regular 11" and XL 13.5" sizes. You can also buy a set of utensils, depending on your needs. We have utensils for cooking, baking, grilling and serving.
